Sunday Worship Service

We hold regular Sunday Worship Services at 10:00am in the church, and would love for you to come and join us, even if only to visit and see what we are about. We seek to give voice to our traditions and history, and to life today. As such our services are both traditional in format with the singing of hymns, bible readings and prayer, whilst also seeking to incorporate more contemporary approaches through modern worship songs and multi media presentations. The service is approximately 55 minutes, includes a message from our minister, and is followed by morning tea and a time of socialising.  Once a quarter a formal communion is offered.

On the third Sunday of the month we hold a Family Whanau Service at 10am with the involvement of the young.

Our church year is interspersed with ‘special services’, including Palm Sunday, Easter and Christmas services in which the kids take a more active role and our usual service structure is up-ended.

The service is followed at 11:00 by morning tea/coffee. Pastoral care, particularly for the elderly, is an important part of our church culture.

Twice a year we have a short morning service with communion on a weekday followed by a lunch for the elderly, particularly those who have difficulty in getting along to the Sunday Services.
